Interesting post…

Jumped over to Sultan Knish via RCP  10-vote link.  Interesting article on Obama you may want to check out.

Update: You didn’t really think I wouldn’t add my 2 cents here, did you :-)

On the 10,000 dead in a Kansas tornado:

Obama says he misspoke because he was tired, but that is quite a large mistake.. let’s hope if he is elected president he gets enough sleep.  But the tired excuse (pun intended?) seems unlikely, especially since he went on to explain that the recovery efforts were slowed by a 40% reduction of available National Guard equipment… which would certainly be a concern if the National Guard were responding, all by themselves, to a tragedy of this magnitude.

On the 60 states (not the 57 people think he’s referring to.. since he does point out he still has one to go and will not be visiting Alaska an Hawaii), just try to tell me that Bush or McCain making the same mistake would nto have been trashed my the MSM.  Very likely he meant to say 47 states visited:

Regarding Obama’s inexperience, I’ve asked this question before: Can you name your state senator (not the US Senator who represents you in Washington, your state senator).. no fair peaking…  neither can I.  Now.. would you vote for that person if he/she were running for president or would you think that would be a rather crazy idea, especially if you learned that your state senator was not viewed as a particularly good state senator.  Oh sure, he’s a US Senator now, for about two years.  And what has he accomplished?  Can you name anything? Anything at all?  Sure seems like the presidential election is turning into a continuation of the popularity contest we experienced in high school politics.  He talks good and promises lots of stuff.. vote for him.
