Obama has raised a phenomenal amount of money to fund his campaign for president. By the end of this month, it is conceivable he will have raised close to one billion dollars!
Obama raised $151 million in September alone!
In contrast, McCain, who did not break his promise to accept public financing, is limited to a total of $84 million post-convention spending.
Obama spent $65 million just on commercials in September. That’s not travel, that’s not food, that’s not salaries, that’s not internet, that’s not mailings, that’s not anything except commercials!
This truly is an amazing story. I suppose Obama would have been a fool to keep his promise to live within the boundaries of the rules of public financing. With the future of the world on the line, can’t campaign on the cheap here.
What’s truly disturbing about this truly amazing story is that Obama was quite comfortable spending all of that money… other people’s money. And even as he held these huge lead in funds and a solid lead in the polls, he wanted more money and he spent more money.
I guess he’s getting a head start on his presidency… take other peoples money, spend other peoples money, take more, spend more, take, spend… cut spending? Ah, no. Take, spend, take, spend, take, spend…

If Obama really cared about the poor why wouldn’t he just give them some of that money instead of spending it on himself or his campaign.
Come to speak of it … has Obama ever done anything for anyone other than for himself?
Nothing comes to mind
