Biden: If it walks like a duck

Biden set the standard for measuring a person.  He explains that you can not be separated from those you associate with, that if you walk like a duck, talk like a duck, you’re a duck.

So I put together this short video for your viewing pleasure:

Biden’s comments refer to John McCain’s behavior. McCain can say he is not George Bush all he wants but if his behavior is the same, he is like George Bush.

McCain’s argument is that simply knowing someone or interacting with someone causes you to have similar views. This is absolutely absurd of course. Barack has not shown any of the repulsive qualities of Ayers or Jeremiah Wright. McCain has not even attempted to show how Barack has been affected by these people. Trying to establish guilt by association without establishing relevence is the opposite of saying, if it walks like a duck. . . The statement requires evidence. McCain hasn’t shown any.

Heaven help us all if Socialist Obama gets elected. Let’s just hide our money and go on welfare!

Hurrah, we’re bombed again! (but this time we’re liked, and we showed that we can nurture the One’s personal growth!)

Mister Biden, insightful Freudian slip, thank you!
Biden, involuntary Cassandra, rightfully predicted that (god forbid, in case Obama’s elected) we’ll soon be in a major conflict because outside forces will want to test/break Obama’s mettle – in other words, America will
pay in lives and tragedy the liberals’ wanton need for showing to themselves and the world how enlightened, open-minded and multicultural they are, by forcing upon this country a cynical, narcissistic and utterly incompetent buffoon as commander-in-chief.
Biden’s remark should crown any illustration of liberals’ pathological, criminal irresponsibility (anything new here?)
Yes, we’ll may soon see NYT, CNN and their ilk ratiocinating why Obama’s presence in the office (we’re liked again, he’s a unifier, the plantation thing got to be adressed, etc.), overwhelmingly trumps his blunders (if not
outright betrayal) which will cost this nation lives (many of them) and other severe misfortunes.
And ain’t you noticed lately that the Dem campaign is setting at lower and lower levels Obama’s expected performance? I wonder why – has the world changed since May? Or the Grand Eel’s reserve of hope’n change is getting dry?
As far as the timing of the crisis, normally we should see it coming as earlier than later. Either way, we’ll assist at how America will pay dearly with lives this sinister enterprise – allowing the ascenssion to the US presidency of a cynical hologram whose only qualification for the job is that fits the liberals’ and media’ deep anti-American passions.

  4. Brian Smith,

Of course Biden was referring to the campaign talking point of McCain = Bush, but that’s all it is, a talking point. McCain and Bush have little in common, in fact McCain has often been a thorn in Bush’s side. But you can not detach Obama from his associations simply because he does not publicly exhibit some public tendencies that would clearly prevent most from voting for him… he’s a politician and a damn good one, of course he is not going to say things that will hurt his chnaces of election.

The only way to understand how a politician will behave is to look at his record and those who he respects and associates with… their words are meaningless on both sides of the aisle if not backed up by actions.

Obama’s record is extremely liberal, he has extreme positions on abortion and economics, and he counted among his mentors Rev. Wright until it became a clear liability to defend him.

I suppose there is a good chance to see if I will be proved right or wrong in the next 12 months since he may well be elected. Check back here and let me know how wonderful things are in a country where the president, senate, house, supreme court are all liberal and the “fairness doctrine” is passed to suppress opposing views even on the radio… should be a wonderful world.

  5. misanthropicus,

The spinners were out in force today repeating the same, nearly identical, line over and over that Biden was not referring to Obama but ANY new president… if they say it enough times, most will belive it because the echo chamber is drowning the truth in waves of newspeak.

Amazing, most thought 1984 would come from the right. Now we have things like “spending” redefined as “investing”, tax cuts being “rolled back” instead of new taxes (when is the cut off for whan a tax is new instead of a tax cut rolled back?), and government handouts being called “tax cuts” even though the people receiving the “tax cuts” pay no income tax.

    Should be interesting times…

  6. Sylvia… already told my wife I may quit my job so I can get in line for my check :-)

  7. Johnny says:

Great work! This is a cool vid to pass around. Thanks for editing this.

  8. Granny T says:

Thanks for making the video. I was thinking along the same lines when I heard Biden make those comments yesterday. How long will it takes before he decides to “spread the wealth” of middle income wage earners to others he thinks need it more? Don’t forget he still wants Americans to help the poor in Africa. He wants to decide which charities we should support rather than letting us decide for ourselves. He was instrumental in getting tax dollars to help support ACORN. He used our tax dollars to travel to Kenya to campaign for his communist cousin. Rumor has it he even swore in as an IL Senator on the Koran. Heaven help us if Americans don’t realize that the “change” Obama plans to follow is his Marxists, Communist, socialistic agenda.

  9. Welcome Grannt T, but don’t believe everything you hear (even if you hear it from me :-)

Im pretty sure he was not sworn in on the Koran. Not sure about the tax dollars to travel to Kenya …

There’s so much to be concerned about without digging deep into the rumor mill to find stuff. We need to be careful we don’t discredit the real info by sharing unsubstantiated info.

  10. cookiegramma says:

Actually Grannt is correct about the use of tax dollars in the travel to Kenya. This was a part of an official senatorial junket and ended up drawing compalints from the Kenyan ambassador to our government. One of the blogs over at justsaynodeal talked about this and had proof. It was either hillbuzz or NOquarter a couple weeks ago. It is most unfortunate that the nickname given by Clinton supporters to Obama has proven true, he is indeed the teflon candidate. I suspect thought that his teflon is covered in a race card. Attempting to fight through that has proven to meet with nothing but being branded as out of touch or uneducated. Joe the plumber has punched a hole in the armor, lets see if we see it enlarged by real information about his positions and past actual votes before the democrats once again manage to mix up more Koolade and patch the hole.

  11. Hi Cookiegramma.. thanks for the info.

I’ve been spending so much time trying to get a read on the API story about Michele Obama calling them and an alleged tape that would be an “October surprise”, I haven’t had time to write anything.

That’s either going to be the biggest hoax I’ve seen or the biggest political grenade in my lifetime.

  12. Andy says:

The story of the relationship between notorious unapologetic American terrorist Bill Ayers and the JFK Pretender Barack Obama has been out there since February. As of yesterday no major news organization besides Fox has even attempted to question Ayers about the nature of the relationship, and then only once. They made another attempt yesterday…
