He is very good at deciding to undo the solutions of others, but not so good at offering his own
With much fanfare, immediately after he took office, he announced Guantanamo would be closed in no more than a year… he just didn’t actually have a plan for what to do with all those pesky prisoners.
Now he has shut down the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste disposal facility without having any plan for where to put all that pesky nuclear waste temporarily being stored all around the US.
Thankfully, Thinkin’Bout Stuff has an answer that will solve both of these problems.
Store the Guantanamo prisoners at Yucca Mountain and ship all the nuclear waste to Guantanamo. It’s a win-win!
The terrorists will be in a secure facility deep under a mountain, which may even be familiar surroundings for some of them; and the nuclear waste … no longer on US soil.
Piece of cake.
